Attendance
If for any reason a student is unable to attend a class, it would be appreciated if you could notify teachers in advance, so classes can be cancelled if need be.
Unattended Classes
All missed classes must be paid for unless prior notice is given for extended absence of three or more consecutive weeks. (or extended illness) Any students who miss a class may do an appropriate make-up class at another time. Due to classes having student number limits, prior arrangement of make-up classes must be made.
Extreme Heat Policy
If the current outside temperature is above 35 degrees classes will still be held, however a stretch class or similar (something less strenuous) will take place instead of the normal class.
Students affected by this rule may do a make-up class at another time if they wish. In the case where the class is to be held in an air conditioned studio, class will run as normal.
Collection of Students After CLass
As a safety issue, it is requested that all parents come into the studio to collect their children after class. We are unable to monitor the whereabouts of students once they leave the studio. (We don’t mind if you are in your daggy old tracksuit pants and slippers, we just like to know the students have been collected safely!)
Lost Property
Please ensure you label all your child’s uniform items as it makes life easier for everyone involved if items are left at the studio. We have a Lost Property box at the studio - please check it regularly as you may find something you didn’t realise you had lost!!!!! All items still in the Lost Property box at the end of each term will be donated to charity.
Noticeboard
There is a noticeboard located in the office area at the studio, please make sure you check it regularly as there may be information and concert dates you need to take note of.
Students Changing in/out of Dance Clothes
As we only have one toilet at the studio, it would be appreciated if the toilet is not used as a change room. If students need to change, they may do so behind the curtains in the costume room. (Don’t play with the costumes please.)
