Lou-Na Performers was established in Vermont in 1997. Our classes are designed so the student can have fun while they are learning to dance. Whilst getting fit and enjoying themselves, they will also be trained with correct dance technique. There will be no examinations, however the students are able to participate in a mid-year display and an end of year concert to allow parent’s and friends to observe and enjoy the students’ progress over the year. Our small and large studios both have safety glass partitioning along one side, which enables parent’s to sit and watch classes. This gives parent’s of younger students peace of mind that their child is in a happy and safe environment and younger students security of knowing their parent has not left them. (The partitions also mean the noise level in the parent area doesn’t travel through to the classroom, hence children wont be distracted by outside noises.) Some children perform better in class when their parents are absent and as a parent this is for you to decide.
If your child is a beginner, it will most likely take them at least a term to feel more confident with the feel of their chosen dance style/s - so your child needs to be encouraged to give it a decent try. If your child is having problems with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask for help. Of course this is just the same for the adult students!!!!
